Anne-Mary Inglehearn

Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist
Anne-Mary’s ambition is to help others discover that yoga is about far more than perfect poses or the lotus position – it’s also about taking time for yourself, finding new strength and flexibility in your body and calming a racing mind.
Ilkley Yoga & Pilates Centre

Anne-Mary has called Ilkley home for over 20 years and loves living there.  After an earlier career in the world of libraries she now works as a civil servant. She first came to yoga to help with a bad back, but soon discovered it offered much more than just that. What kept her heading back to the mat was yoga’s wider outlook on wellbeing – the sense of community, the headspace, the chance to truly switch off, and yes, the bonus of still being able to touch her toes. Anne-Mary’s ambition is to help others discover that yoga is about far more than perfect poses or the lotus position – it’s also about taking time for yourself, finding new strength and flexibility in your body and calming a racing mind. Yoga can be whatever you need it to be when you’re doing it – it’s a practice for real life
