Yoga Classes

Our classes are available in the studio, online, or both.  Book via our website or the Momence app (search Ilkley Yoga Centre). For online classes, you’ll receive a Zoom link one hour before the start time. Please let your teacher know about any injuries before class. You’ll be informed if your class is being live streamed.

In the studio

  • Ilkley: max 8 students (some classes live streamed)
  • Bradford: max 14 students
  • Warm studios with infra-red heating
  • Mats and props available
  • Lockers and toilet on site
  • Both studios are first floor (stairs access)

Practise at home?

We stream selected classes, including Morning Yoga, Forrest Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga. Your Zoom link will be sent one hour before class.

Class Descriptions

Ashtanga Yoga

A dynamic, structured sequence of postures practised in a set order, building heat, strength, and stamina through a strong, breath-led flow.

Beginners

A friendly, supportive introduction to yoga, covering basic postures, breathing, and alignment—perfect if you’re new or returning after a break.

Booty Barre

A fun, energetic workout that fuses fitness techniques from Pilates, ballet & yoga to tone and sculpt the whole body. The perfect combination of strength and flexibility focusing on your posture, core and all the muscles that surround the spine. Not suitable for those new to exercise.

Chair

A gentle, accessible class using a chair for support, ideal for improving mobility, balance, and strength in a safe and inclusive way.

Forrest Yoga

A powerful and grounding practice that focuses on core strength, deep breathing, and releasing tension, helping you feel stronger and more connected.

Hatha Yoga

A balanced, steady-paced class focusing on classic postures, breath awareness, and alignment—ideal for building strength, flexibility, and calm.

Pregnancy Yoga

A nurturing class designed for expectant mothers, focusing on gentle movement, breathwork, and relaxation to support body and mind during pregnancy.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa flow is a dynamic, creative yoga class that links movement with breath. Flow through simple sequences set to music, helping you feel stronger, more flexible, and calm. This slower-paced flow class is suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Yin Yoga

A slow, calming practice where poses are held for longer to gently stretch deep connective tissues, improve flexibility, and encourage relaxation.

Yogalates

A combination of yoga postures and Pilates techniques focusing on mind body awareness, strength, flexibility and building a strong core. Light weights, Pilates balls and resistance bands maybe used to add variety and challenge to the class. Suitable for all levels.
